CUSTARD BUN (BÁNH BAO CADÉ)

Thanks Karen helped me translation this Chinese recipe into English .

CUSTARD BUN
Ingredient:
A> Bun Dough
300g cake flour or all purpose white rose brand
50g sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp instance yeast
150g milk - may use more if the flour feel dry .
B> Filling
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup coconut milk
2 egg
50g butter
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 TBSP custard powder
Sugar( taste to your sweet level) .
1 salted egg york ( steam and mashed )
Method:
*** For best result dissolve yeast with warm milk or warm water before mix together .
1- Mix all A ingredient all together until form to ball and smooth, nonstick , cover and rest for 1 hour .
2- Stir well until smooth all ingredient B together (accept the salted egg york ).
3- Bring the mixture to low heat and constantly stir until thick ,( if not thick enough you can stir little more flour with milk and pour in slowly ) and put salted egg york in last and stir until smooth . When it thick enough and cook well ,cool down before filling .
4- After one hour divide dough dough evenly , put the filling and you can shape in ball or what ever shape you like .... and rest 30'.
5- Boiling water with 2Tbsp of vinegar and steam bun in high heat about 10' .
